ABOUT MATT
Matthew Durr is an independent candidate for the United States House of Representatives in Illinois’ 11th Congressional District. A veteran, nonprofit founder, and community advocate, Matthew is running for Congress to bring government back to its most important purpose: serving the people.
Matthew believes leadership should come from those who understand the struggles of everyday Americans. His life experiences—both in service to his country and in his work helping vulnerable communities—have shaped his commitment to fight for those who feel ignored by the political establishment.
Matthew is the founder of The Revolution’s Enterprise, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending homelessness and restoring dignity to people who have been left behind by society. Through this work, he has focused on building solutions that prioritize housing, opportunity, and compassion for every American.
As a veteran of the United States Army, Matthew has also seen firsthand the challenges facing service members and believes the country must do more to support those who defend it. His campaign calls for meaningful military reform, better care for veterans, and leadership that treats those who serve with the respect they deserve.
